Super Hero parties are one of the most popular themes of the year for any age or gender. The reasons most companies don’t offer super hero performers are a little less than obvious:

  • Expensive fiberglass costumes make heroes a pretty expensive entertainment–out of the budget of most birthday parties
  • Kids interact with heroes the ways they’ve seen them interacted with. (Which, unfortunately, means they usually try to fight the heroes.)
  • Costumes that involve masks make it hard to interact with children in the same way our princesses do.

So, instead of simply sending a costumed character to your party, we’ve put together a super-fun package for any super hero party: Build Your Own Hero! For the same budget as sending in a super hero (if not less) we have a special package for all of our favorite little heroes and villains:

Face painting, balloon twisting, mascots, and more! If you’re throwing a themed party and looking for a character to come visit your party, we’ve come up with a specialty package for anyone looking to save some money on entertainment for all ages.

Here’s the overview:

  • Book at least one artist for face painting and/or balloon twisting
  • Once our artist is done with their activity, they’ll pack up and say goodbye to the kids, then re-enter the party dressed as the mascot of your choice!
  • You save money since we’re only sending out one artist for both activities
  • All of our prices depend on about how many kids and where your party is, so contact us today to get a free quote!

Lauren started at Kaleidoscope so long ago, she actually found this job on Craig’s List! (Yes, THAT Craig’s List!) An avid cosplayer and costume designer, Lauren was looking for a job that combined her talent in visual arts with her love and experience working with children.

At events, Lauren is a face painter, balloon twister, hair artist, temporary tattoo artist, henna artist, clown, fairy, pirate, cartoon character, toddler-party-package-specialist, and probably a few other things we can’t remember. She covers all three of our states we service (CT, MA, and RI) but hails from Manchester, CT.

Before coming to Kaleidoscope, Lauren went to Champlain College for Elementary Education and before going to cosmetology school for hair and makeup. She’s a professional creative-thing-maker and a top-notch entertainer!

Setting up your face painter: water source, under shade, 1 table and 2 chairs, enough light to see, and far away from any loud music
