Custom Caricature Templates
At-A-Glance: We will create a black and white frame on acid free paper that includes what ever details you want. At your event, our caricature artists will draw your guests right onto the frame.
We Love Them For For: Festivals, all-ages or adult events, brand awareness events.
We Don’t Recommend Them For: Events that target kids for entertainment (typically, kids under 8 or 9 aren’t very interested).
Brand Ideas: Out of all of our custom entertainment, custom caricature templates can include the most information–not just your logo but your contact info, websites, or key product features.
Limitations: Because we only provide black and white caricatures, our frames should be black and white to match. (We also try to illustrate our frames in a “sketchy”, handmade look–but this is only a suggestion and not a strict limitation.)
Order Process: Contact our office for design and printing prices and pick from pre-created designs (where all you pay is a printing fee, not a design fee) or design something totally fresh with our in-house design team. When you design something from scratch, you’ll email back and forth with Marissa, then she’ll send you a few mock-ups. You’ll pick one from there and then your artist will have them at your event when they arrive.
Typically we need about a month’s notice to work with you, print on acid-free archival paper, and get the pages to our local team.
Custom Airbrush and Glitter Tattoo Stencils
At-A-Glance: Create branded glitter or airbrush tattoo stencils for our artists to apply at an event.
We Love Them For For: Events with huge lines (temporary tattoos are some of our fastest products to apply) or as bonus entertainment for a sponsored booth.
We Don’t Recommend Them For: Intimate events or HR-sponsored company events. (A family at a festival may be excited for a free tattoo with your brand on it, but your adult employees may not appreciate it.)
Brand Ideas: Typically clients will order just their logos either in 1-2 colors (glitter) or all-black (airbrush). However, if your event has a theme we can also create a custom menu of various themed options special for your event (instead of our generic menus).
Limitations: Stencils should be bold and simple. If your logo is overly detailed or has a lot of small writing, some detail may be lost when we convert and cut them.
Order Process: Custom tattoos need to be placed at least a month in advance for both (1) the design process and (2) creation time with a laser cutter before (3) delivering them to our local team. You’ll see and approve the design before we cut them, and the artist will have vinyl stencils at your event.
Custom Face Painting & Balloon Twisting Menus
At-A-Glance: Create your own face painting or balloon twisting menu for your event! These are massively popular with colleges and sports teams who are looking to build unity and pride, but can be done for a wide variety of events.
We Love Them For For: Visual harmony at your event (switching classic designs like tigers, fairy eyes, super heroes, or flowers into your brand’s colors are the most popular type of custom menu) or playing up your event’s theme (and limiting the menu to, say, all super heroes).
We Don’t Recommend Them For: Brands that want to put their logo on people (tattoo stencils are better for this).
Brand Ideas:
- Creating a custom menu with designs that are only themed to your event (ex: pirates & mermaids event that only wants pirate, mermaid, or ocean themed faces.)
- Changing the color of our most popular designs (ex: a breast cancer awareness event that wants to provide all sorts of popular kid face painting designs, but only in pink.)
- A sports team that wants their colors and mascot as the only options (see college event menus above.)
- Control over face paint sizes (ex: a venue that won’t allow full face designs for security reasons.)
- Creation of custom designs (for your brand or theme.)
Limitations: Because we are hand painting or twisting these designs, and more complicated designs take longer, during your design process we may offer suggestions on ideas that are more simple than the ones you’ve dreamed up, but still meet your goals. (For example, if you want your mascot twisted out of balloons, we’ll tell you how long that mascot will take to twist so you can think about the price per hour for that twister to get through your guests).
Order Process: Custom face painting and balloon twisting menus take the longest to make out of all of our custom entertainment design options. During your booking process you’ll speak to our design team about your ideas and we’ll let you know what’s possible or reasonable. Most custom menus will need a month’s notice, but if you want something truly unique it may take several months. (For example, a menu with just custom colors to your brand is pretty simple; a menu where you want your brand’s characters converted into custom balloon twisting designs is a longer discussion.)
